Yetkililer, aşırı sıcaklıkların, güçlü rüzgarların ve kuru koşulların krizi şiddetlendirmesi üzerine uyarılar yayınladı ve halkı bilinçlendirme kampanyaları başlattı. Sıcak hava dalgası ayrıca İstanbul gibi büyük şehirleri etkiledi ve deniz yaşamını ile turizmi etkiledi.

It’s just heartbreaking to see Turkey hit 50°C and burn while politicians keep propping up fossil fuel industries. This is exactly why we need to ditch profit-driven systems and put people and the planet first. Capitalism keeps fueling the climate crisis, and working people always pay the price. Real climate justice means shifting to an eco-socialist model where we actually care for each other and the earth, not just corporate profits.

Maybe if the government got out of the way and let private innovation handle energy and land management, we’d see better solutions to these climate issues instead of endless top-down panic and restrictions.
