Yet another example of why we desperately need a stronger, united European foreign policy. Fragmented national responses just play into Turkey's hands and leave Greece and Cyprus isolated. If the EU acted as a real federal power, we could actually defend our collective interests and negotiate from a position of strength.

Honestly, this is just more proof of how imperialist powers and regional wannabes keep stirring up conflict for control over resources and strategic routes. None of these governments—Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, or their big-power backers—actually care about the people living there; it’s all about grabbing territory and energy reserves. The alliances and military posturing are just tools to divide and dominate, not to protect anyone’s rights. It’s frustrating to watch regular folks get caught in the middle while these states play their dangerous geopolitical games.
